Who Handles My Personal Affairs When Life Falls Apart and I Still Have to Work?
It depends. What do you need handled?
Tell me what has landed on you, and we will work out which parts I can take off your hands.
Life does not wait for a quiet quarter. A parent dies and there is an estate to sort out. A marriage ends and two households need untangling. Someone in the family falls ill, and suddenly hospitals, insurers and relatives are all calling at once. And you are still expected at work on Monday.
What I can take on
- Keeping track of the paperwork, deadlines and follow-ups
- Coordinating the professionals, like the lawyer, the accountant or the insurer
- Being the one point of contact, so you are not repeating yourself to ten people
- Gathering the facts on decisions that need making, so you can choose
What I do not take on
Anything that needs a lawyer, accountant, doctor or therapist. I will help you find the right one, and I will not pretend to be one. Everyday errands are better suited to a virtual assistant.
Things people ask
What if it is too personal to explain properly?
Tell me as much or as little as you like at first. We will work out the rest together.
Is this confidential?
